lircemu is a small tool for developers of LIRC applications. It emulates the LIRC daemon so you can test, develop, and use programs with LIRC support. It provides a graphical virtual remote control so you can send buttons an easy way. Also a simple version for console is included. Note: This tool has been developed by David Kutalek. Since his original website has vanished, the link above points to some maybe outdated version of lircemu.
